Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to join our growing remote team either in a full-time, part-time, or freelance capacity. This role is focused on helping our Shopify clients improve on-site performance through data-driven testing, UX enhancements, and continuous optimization. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, deep e-commerce and UX knowledge, and a proven track record of delivering measurable results through CRO programs.

You’ll be working closely with project managers, designers, developers, and clients—so strong communication and stakeholder management skills are a must. If you’re passionate about maximizing user engagement and revenue through insight-led experimentation, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Conversion Strategy & Execution

  • Analyze user behavior using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Shopify analytics to identify friction points and opportunities.

  • Develop and implement CRO strategies tailored to Shopify-based e-commerce businesses.

  • Design and run A/B or multivariate tests to validate hypotheses and inform decision-making.

  • Track, measure, and report on test performance with clear ROI narratives.

User Experience & Journey Optimization

  • Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive user flows and wireframes that guide users toward conversion.

  • Recommend adjustments to navigation, checkout flows, landing pages, and more to improve user experience and performance.

Stakeholder Communication & Client Management

  • Lead client discovery sessions to understand goals, pain points, and customer behavior.

  • Translate findings and test results into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Present reports and strategies with clarity and confidence in regular check-ins and review calls.

Project & Process Management

  • Manage your own CRO pipeline and coordinate with internal teams to implement changes.

  • Use project management tools like ClickUp to track deliverables and timelines.

  • Prioritize tasks based on business impact, technical feasibility, and client goals.

Job Requirements:

We’re looking for a results-driven, data-informed CRO expert who brings:

  • 3+ years of experience in CRO, ideally within a Shopify or e-commerce context.

  • Deep understanding of e-commerce customer behavior and UX best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify themes, storefront customization, and third-party app functionality.

  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize testing roadmaps based on data and impact.

  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely, VWO, or similar.

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to confidently lead client discussions.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive results in a remote setting.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a digital agency or client-facing environment.

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS and ability to collaborate closely with developers.

  • Familiarity with UX/UI tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

  • Background in psychology, marketing, or data science related to user behavior.

  • Experience with Shopify Plus, headless builds, or international storefronts.

  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
